JOSEPH SHRAPNELL (1844 - 1917)
Joseph was the son of JOSEPH SHRAPNELL (1808 - 1859), son of a Joseph, etc for four generations back linking on to the main tree of clothiers, victuallers and ironmongers from Trowbridge, Wiltshire. Having married Ellen Bishop in 1862 after an undistinguished military career he was to be found eventually at The Rank in North Bradley where he was to raise eleven children.
